Dave and Nellies Adventures

As we were starting to prepare for our trip to Great Smokey Mountains, Dave didn’t notice the kick stand on his 3 point landscaping rake was missing the lock pin, and it dropped on his right toe when he was trying to get the rake to stand up on it’s own. My big toe turned all shades of purple, and I will lose the toenail, but what a way to prepare for a week of hiking!! Then, on Saturday afternoon, I my pickup let me know I had lost some tire pressure in the left rear tire, so since no tire shops were open, I plugged the tire. Then on the way home from Tori’s Angels Gala, a doe ran out in front of me near our house, I slammed the brakes on, pushed her a little bit, and then make it home. That is a good way to get your heart rate up!!
