Dave and Nellies Adventures

We left Greenbrier Campground around 8:00 a.m. and began the long trek back to Iowa. Overall, the drive was uneventful, especially when we were out of the mountains and white knuckle driving. 🙂

At 4:30 p.m. CST we arrived in Mahomet, IL and entered Tin Cup Campground, located just off I-74. On our way to the campground, we ran across a little pizza/Italian joint called Fillipos. Wow, it was awesome, We had a shrimp Mediterranean pizza. Bit of background, this young couple from Sicily came to the US over 40 years ago and began their restaurant in Monticello IL and it is thriving!
