Dave and Nellies Adventures

At 6:38 a.m., Dave and I and Dave’s Mom, Lucy, set off on a trip to visit Lucy’s two sisters, one in Arizona and one in Colorado. Our goal for today is to make it 600 miles to a campground south of Oklahoma City. Ten hours of driving (4:30 p.m., we arrived at the Mustang Campground. We were in 4 states today: Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, and Oklahoma today.

The Mustang campground was very clean and nice, just off the interstate, though, so pretty noisy. Our camper looked pretty small to the many big ones here. Wowza. I went for a walk around the campground after dinner. There were two campers that had candles going in jack-o-lanterns.

Cold evening, got down to 31 degrees. Thank goodness we had a furnace that worked!
