Dave and Nellies Adventures

For those that want to follow our trips, as we head to State and National Parks across the US. We are equipped with a 2022 F150 and 2022 Forest River Surveyor 203RKLE. Our travel trailer is perfect to get around in, and offers great space and food prep space.

Day 3, September 4, 2025

Today we took an amazing scenic drive from the Bear Lodge to west Yellowstone Park. We have a campsite in West Yellowstone that we will use the entire time while we are visiting Yellowstone. The drive was fairly slow, but amazing!

We decided to go to Old Faithful area today. We hit the jack box with everything. Below are pics of some of the guysers. Then we saw a lone bison just off the walking trail by Old Faithful. We rerouted our walk. 😊

After sightseeing the guysers, and on our way outside of the park, we saw a bison on the 2-lane highway! We felt sorry for him.

So that was crazy, but then we saw some elk. Way cool.
