Day 4, September 5, 2025

First full day in Yellowstone. We ate at the Slippery Otter Pub last night. Our waitress advised us that to see bears and wolves we needed to be at the park before or by sunrise. So we left this am at 5:00 am. We headed to Lamar Valley area which was over an hour and half from our campground. We saw an area where many people were congregating and checked it out. We began walking up on a bluff area. People were so kind and let us look through their spotter scopes and we saw a pack of six wolves. It was really amazing!

We also drove later to an area that bears are sometimes seen, but we didn’t see any. 😩

We then headed to an area called Yellowstone Grand Canyon. Beautiful drive thru the park. We did some walking/hiking and enjoyed the canyon and water falls!
