Day 14; September 15, 2025

Bryce Canyon National Park

It’s Monday, we got to Bryce Canyon a little after 8:00. We walked around the rim for awhile to check out the views.

There weren’t as many people today do we really enjoyed the walk and the sights.

We had a picnic lunch. Then decided to go back to the campground. Debbie and I wanted to do a little more exploring. I found a trail about 10 miles from our campground. Willis Creek Slot Canyon Trail in Kanub, UT. even though it was only 10 miles, GPS told us that it would take us over 30 minutes to get there. When we turned off the main road after about 10 minutes, we were on a dirt, undeveloped road with some rocks and twists to maneuver. We thought about skipping it and turning around and finding something else, but the hunt was on. We saw signs that indicated we were on the right road, we also met a few vehicles, which we couldn’t believe. After about 30 minutes, we arrived and found a couple vehicles about ready to leave and 4 cars in the lot so we weren’t alone!

Early view. There is a little stream
The rock walls are really cool

It is in the low 80s here, but very cool in the shade of the slots

These are rocks in the middle of the slot canyon, where water goes around (when there is water)

It was a great afternoon for all, guys got to take naps and Deb and I enjoyed our little adventure.
