Today is our first full day in Florida and our resort. After a cup of coffee, Dave and I walked around the lake. After breakfast, Debbie and I met at the fitness center and did a strength training workout. Bill, Deb and I played some pickleball (I’m learning). We met some fun people. While we played, Dave worked out at the fitness center. After lunch, we met at the pool for the afternoon, did I mention that it was 80 here today?!! What a day for being spoiled.
They had a complimentary happy hour, which we appreciated and then after cleaning up, Dave and I went to Fort Meyer’s to a Japanese steak house. We met Dave’s brother, Michael and Rachel and Dave’s sister Connie. When we got there, we were surprise to also see Dave’s cousin Janet and her husband Monty. They live in North Dakota full time and have purchased a condo on Sanibel Island. It was a very enjoyable evening.
