5:25 a.m. left Panora and headed east.
Day 1, Although Dave had a flat tire yesterday and forgot to fill up with gas, we are positive and excited about our trip! This is the first time we’ve driven the camper further than 3 hours. As we crossed the Mississippi, we have experienced a beautiful morning with no drama with the truck or camper. Dave and I are finding different Pandora stations we both like. :). I haven’t introduced him to an audio book yet, but we’ll have plenty of time for that.
Here is a pic of Dave on the road with favorite new travel cup from Laura and Angie.

4:00 p.m. (EST)
Arrived at Darin and Gina Madsen’s home in Mooresville, IN. What a beautiful place just outside of Indianapolis. It was wonderful to catch up with Gina and Darin! We enjoyed hearing about family, jobs, friends and have some great laughs along the way.

8:30 a.m. left Gina and Darin’s home. We appreciated their hospitality and assistance to get out of the driveway. :). 425 miles to go to make it to the Greenbrier Campground outside of Gatlinburg.

Wowza, we finally arrived in Gatlinburg at the Greenbrier Campground a little after 5 p.m. Dave had to white knuckle drive for quite awhile. Then in Seviorville we went about 20 miles in one hour because of traffic. This is an understatement, but Dave was so ready to get to the campsite.
We went out to eat and here we are at a cute restaurant in Gatlinburg called the Crystelle Creek. It was a good way to end the day — the 2nd pic is outside the window at our table.
