Dave and Nellies Adventures

For those that want to follow our trips, as we head to State and National Parks across the US. We are equipped with a 2022 F150 and 2022 Forest River Surveyor 203RKLE. Our travel trailer is perfect to get around in, and offers great space and food prep space.

Fall 2025, Day 1

On Tuesday, September 2, Dave and I left for a trip out west. On this trip we are going with our friends Bill and Deb McDermott. Today, we left around 6 AM and had a fairly uneventful ride to Rapid City, South Dakota., arriving around 3 pm., drove 598 miles.

Dave and I took a scenic route through the Badlands. Upon arriving at our KOA campground, it was a beautiful 80°. We enjoyed hanging out at the campgrounds pool for the afternoon/early evening.
