Travel day

Hi All,

We are really looking forward to this fall trip. Dave and I have never been to this area of the United States before. For the planning, Dave utilized AI for travel miles, camping suggestions, and sight-seeing options. He even used it to create poster for county down the days…

We now drive a 2025 Ford 150 that is a hybrid. We have also traded our camper (Forest River Surveyor) for a Delta Alliance which is 3 and a half feet longer. This gave us an actual bedroom and a pantry and reclining theater seats.

We barely got going and our friends Bill and Deb had some trouble near Altoona. They blew dual rear tires on the motorhome. They utilized AI and after calling 5 possibilities, found a company that said they could help them and be there in two hours. Finally after 2 1/2 hours, a guy came and helped them. They were troopers and persevered, making it to the campground at about 7:30 PM.

We stayed at a KOA in Middlebury, Indiana outside of South Bend.
