travel day to Millinock
We experienced a nice drive to Millinock. Got the campers tucked into their spots and made our way to Baxter State Park. It is basically 27 miles to Daicey Pond where we hop on a trail. We put it into the GPS and it is going to take us an hour and 9 minutes. 😊😩 My goodness…
Here is a bit of info about Baxter State Park. It is an unspoiled wilderness area in Northern Maine dedicated to rugged outdoor activities and strict natural preservation. There is one main gravel road that bumpy and winding. The park itself covers 209,644 acres. The park has no electricity, no cell phone service or paved highways. We experienced quiet forests and peaceful ponds.

I know I shared a few photos earlier with rocks and trees, but had to share this one as well. It is amazing how the trees grow around the rocks.
This is called Little Niagara Falls, along the Daicey Pond trail area. It was a scenic area.

Below is the Bug Niagara Falls.
