Baxter State Park
We went to an area known for moose sightings. We walked to the Sandy Stream Pond. We sat at the first viewing area, enjoying the beauty and serenity. There was almost no breeze and cloudy. After a while we went to a second viewing area about 50 feet away. We got lucky and saw a bull calf come out of the trees very close to where we had originally been watching earlier.
We checked a few other areas in the park.
We then checked out a brewery and wood-fired grilled pizza called the Knife Edge Brewing. It was awesome! The picture gives you our view while on the back patio.
