Travel Day to Vermont
About 7 am, we left Baxter State Lark area and made our way to Morrisville, Vermont. This is the Stowe area. The leaves have begun to change and the ride is lovely. Once we settled in, we found a a couple of areas with waterfalls.
the first one we went to is called Moss Glen Falls.

The second waterfall was called Bingham Falls. This one had deep pools and gorges.

Then we took a scenic drive thru the Smugglers Notch Pass. This is a narrow drive that features boulders that could be the size of a house with big cliffs and tight hairpin turns. Before you go up, you have to drive thru a man made set of curves. If you hit one of the sticks, you are too big or long to go through the pass.

This photo is actually on Wikipedia. The trees are so high, you don’t really get this view.
Back in Stowe, we checked out the Alchamist Brewery. What a fun, place.
